Looking at appearances and no man strode into a Bundesliga match more times than Karl Heinz Korbel who turned out 602 times for Frankfurt, a one-club player. Manfred Kaltz played 581 times for Hamburger and Oliver Kahn put in 557 games between 1987 and 2008, representing two teams – Karlsruher and Bayern Munich.
