Babos must overcome her fear when playing against the top seeds; she has 2-19 record against Top 10 players and this is her chance to improve it.
Julia Goerges:
Julia Goerges had great success in Wimbledon, where she reached the semi-finals and lost to Serena Williams; her last tournament was in Moscow on clay where she lost in the 3rd round to 17-year old Olga Danilovic. Her least favoured court is hard court, but she has a solid 13-5 record this year. Out of those 13 wins, 5 came in January in Auckland where she won the title. Her last two appearances on hard court came in March when she lost two straight games to Anastasija Sevastova (WTA 19) in the Indian Wells and to Carina Withoeft (WTA 101) 2-1 in Miami. Goerges won her only match on clay this season 6-2, 6-4 in Madrid.
