April 13 Serie A Betting Tips & Predictions

SPAL v Juventus

The first of our top April 13 Serie A betting tips and predictions is for SPAL v Juventus. Three wins on the bounce pulled Spal out of the Serie A relegation zone but they enter this home tie against the champions in-waiting on the back of a painful defeat and are expected to lose again in front of their own fans. The locals are just four points better than the relegation zone and with teams below them picking up points, it’s shaping up to be a nervy end to the campaign. Bookmakers are dead against the home win and backers can get their hands on 4/1 at Bet365.

Top Dogs

Juventus are top of Serie A, as you would expect, and sit an incredible 20 points clear of the chasing pack. Nothing will stop The Old Lady adding to her collection of jewels and, even by Juve’s standards, this has to go down as a memorable season. The visitors have lost only one of 31 Serie A games to date and it’s incredibly difficult to make a case for them dropping another here. Back the away day in your accumulators at an incredible 4/5 (Ladbrokes). That’s a stunning price.

Our Tip: Juventus to win – 4/5 at Ladbrokes

Roma v Udinese

Roma starts the weekend in sixth but has every chance of battling their way into the top-four and swapping Europa League qualification for a Champions League slot. Unbeaten in two, they followed a hard-fought draw with a morale-boosting win last time and will be keen to use home advantage to boost their tally by three, applying pressure to the teams above. Back Roma at 1/2 with Ladbrokes, perfect for accumulators.

Escape From Relegation

Udinese is another with the threat of relegation hanging over them as we enter a crucial stage of the season, but they are heading in the right direction and have pieced together a three-game unbeaten run, showing two wins and a draw. They banked a maximum last time and will be popular with value hunters at 6/1 – top price at Bet365.

Our Tip: Roma to win – 1/2 at Ladbrokes

AC Milan v Lazio

Game of the day on Saturday goes in the 7.30pm kick-off slot and this fixture is sure to pull in a decent audience from the UK as football fans watch two giants of Italian football battle it out. AC Milan is fourth but go in on the back of a four-game winless run, made up of three defeats and a draw. They were beaten last time and that may just put punters off trusting them here at the 6/4 available with Unibet.

Looking for a Champions League Spot

Lazio is battling for a top-four finish and head into the weekend with just three points to find to match their opponents. The away dressing room will see this as an ideal opportunity to leapfrog Milan and throw themselves into contention for the Champions League places. They are, however, winless in two, following a defeat with a draw last time and they can’t be backed at 17/10 (Bet365). Sit on the fence and back the share at 9/4 (Bet365).

Our Tip: A draw – 9/4 at Bet365

Torino v Cagliari

The opening game of what will be an interesting Sunday from the Italian top-flight and Torino are one of six teams in with a chance of finishing fourth this season. We’re prepared for a dramatic end to the campaign and the locals know they must win their home games to give themselves the best chance, starting here. Bookies have Torino picked at 4/5 (Bet365) and that’ll do for us.

A Good Run of Results

Cagliari starts in 12th but have won three of their last four, including victory in their most recent start, and have ambitions of ending in the top-10 this season, something still within their grasp. The traders don’t seem to fancy their chances too much, however, offering the away day at 19/5 (Unibet). Attractive, but we’ll stick with the home dressing room.

Our Tip: Torino to win – 4/5 at Bet365

Fiorentina v Bologna

A winless run of form has pulled Fiorentina down to 10th in the table and they now find themselves with very little to play for as we roll to a finish in Serie A. That drought is made up of three draws and a couple of defeats and they were beaten last time. Another share appeals at 9/4 with Bet365, the home win a 10/11 play with the same firm.

Scrapping Out of the Bottom

Bologna is one place and two points better than the relegation zone, but they have thrown themselves a lifeline by winning three of their last four, including a vital victory last time out. They must continue to collect points if they are to avoid the drop and we’re sure they would see the value in a draw away from home. Backers can get top price 7/2 at Unibet.

Our Tip: A draw – 9/4 at Bet365

Sampdoria v Genoa

Defeat in each of their last two, and three losses in five has ended any hope Sampdoria had of finishing in the top-four this season and they now look to battle their way into the Europa League places with improved form in the closing stages, although that’s also a big ask. Home advantage should ensure a performance and we have them backed at 11/8 (Bet365).

Safe for Next Season

Genoa is winless in three, but they do enjoy a six-point cushion over the relegation zone going into the week and that should ensure their safe passage and place in Serie A for another season. The visitors followed back-to-back defeats with a draw last time and that hasn’t impressed the money men. An away win is 2/1 at Ladbrokes. A decent price, of course, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to trust Genoa with our stake money.

Our Tip: Sampdoria to win – 11/8 at Bet365

Sassuolo v Parma

The last of our April 13 Serie A betting tips is for Sassuolo v Parma. The locals set-up for this match having won just one of their last five but they have little to play for in the closing stages, having already achieved their season goal of avoiding relegation. They could finish higher in the table, of course, but it appears they have downed tools for the season and are simply running down the clock to a finish. We’re not interested in the 7/10 at Bet365 on the locals.

Nothing to Fight For

Parma finds themselves in a similar position with nothing left to aim at. They too have won just one of five and make this trip on the back of a four-game winless run. The visitors drew last time and it would come as no surprise to see them repeat the feat here. Back the share at 14/5 (Bet365).

Our Tip: A draw – 14/5 at Bet365
