April 27 La Liga Betting Tips & Predictions

There are some incredible games to be had in La Liga. Barcelona are looking strong and other teams are fighting it out for the rest of the places. Can Real Madrid get second? Here are our top April 27 La Liga betting tips…

The Best La Liga Tips

Athletic Bilbao v Alaves

This will be the second leg of what has been a hectic week for La Liga sides, but Bilbao enjoy the benefit of playing at home and that won’t be lost on the players. Both sides entered the week locked on 46 points but neither bring any kind of form into this one and that makes them difficult to trust. There’s nothing between the rivals at the time of writing so we’ll take the draw as a super single at 29/10 with William Hill.

Our Tip: A draw – 29/10 at William Hill

Atletico Madrid v Valladolid

The hosts started the week with form showing four wins in their last five and they are on-course to finish best of the rest in La Liga behind champions Barcelona, holding off the attentions of rivals Real Madrid. A home tie against a lowly ranked opponent makes this an easy bet to have and we’ll add Atletico to our accumulators at 3/10 (Bet365). That’s better than we expected to find.

Our Tip: Atletico Madrid to win – 3/10 at Bet365

Leganes v Celta Vigo

This fixture won’t rank too highly on the list of priorities for football fans this weekend but there is points to be won and it’ll be a hard-fought contest, that’s for sure. Vigo show the better recent form, but we are struggling to split the pair and, for that reason, will take up position on the fence. Back a draw at 21/10 with Bet365. Another best suited to a super single.

Our Tip: A draw – 21/10 at Bet365

Barcelona v Levante

Those following the live coverage of this match get another chance to see the champions in-waiting as they stroll towards the finish line and continue their dominance of Spanish football. Barca started the week with three wins and two draws but they’ll face no threat between now and the finish line. They are short odds favourites, as you would expect, but there’s enough in William Hill’s 2/11 to merit a place in your weekend accas.

Our Tip: Barcelona to win – 2/11 at William Hill

Valencia v Eibar

Valencia are pushing for a place in the top-four and return to Champions League football and they have boosted their chances with four wins from five following last weekend’s success. Home advantage will see them add another three points to their tally and keep their dreams alive against an Eibar side who are winless in three. Back Valencia to do the business at 8/15 (Bet365).

Our Tip: Valencia to win – 8/15 at Bet365

Girona v Sevilla

A run of defeats has sucked Girona down towards the relegation zone and they started this week in 16th, two points better than the bottom-three, which is far too close for comfort. Will they throw themselves a lifeline here? We really don’t think so and would much rather have our cash on the away day at a decent 9/10 with 888sport. That’s another bet that’ll work best in multiples and we expect it to be settled as a winner without too much fuss.

Our Tip: Sevilla to win – 9/10 at 888sport

Real Sociedad v Getafe

Two wins and a couple of draws sent Getafe into the week in fourth place and if they can hold their ground between now and the finish line, they will be playing Champions League football in a few weeks, something fans could only dream of back at the start of the campaign. There’s still work to do, however, and they must rally to win away from home against a capable opponent but bookies make them easy to back. Take Getafe in your bets at a cracking 21/10 with Bet365. That’s bigger than we believe it should be and we’re happy to collect the value.

Our Tip: Getafe to win – 21/10 at Bet365

Villarreal v Huesca

We have a real relegation dog fight on our hands here and that will make for great viewing for neutrals choosing to follow this Sunday 5.30pm kick-off. Villarreal go in to the week having claimed each of the six points that was available to them in two games and they now have a four-point advantage over the relegation zone. That will allow them to breathe easy, but if they then go and lose this match in front of their own fans, they’ll be in trouble again.

Thankfully for the locals, Huesca are bottom of the league and going nowhere fast. The visitors did draw four games on the bounce, making the level finish a danger, but we’ll stick with the form side and back Villarreal at the 4/7 made available by 888sport. Good luck if you follow our thinking.

Our Tip: Villarreal to win – 4/7 at 888sport

Rayo Vallecano v Real Madrid

There hasn’t been a lot for home fans to shout about this season and they will attend this match fearing the worst as they set-up against the might of a resurgent Real Madrid side who are desperate to make a point between now and the end of the season, promising fans they will be better next term. Real Madrid are out of the Champions League, a tournament they dominated in recent times, and look set to finish as low as third in La Liga.

There’s not a lot left for supporters to smile about but we do expect them to get the three points here. Back Los Blancos to do a job at 2/5 (Bet365). That’s a bet for your stacked European football accas and makes more appeal than Vallecano at 13/2 – top price at Bet365 – or the draw at 4/1 with William Hill. Keep it simple and support the better team of the two.

Our Tip: Real Madrid to win – 2/5 at Bet365

Real Betis v Espanyol

Monday night football from the top-flight of the Spanish game and those choosing to follow this match live from 8.00pm are set for an honest battle for points, with both sides believing themselves good enough to claim the desired result. Real Betis started the week having lost each of their last two and three of four as they slow to a halt this season.

Opponents Espanyol enjoyed the confidence that comes from a four-game unbeaten run, that purple patch made up of two wins and a couple of draws. We’re finishing with a share and will back the draw at 21/10 with Bet365. That’s good enough to hold our interest.

Our Tip: A draw – 21/10 at Bet365
