Coventry takes on Gillingham in a match of particular importance and this one should keep supporters of both teams on the edge of their seats. Coventry has a long, tough season ahead with as many problems off the field as on it. The players must keep their minds on football but that’s easier said than done. It was a deserved three points and a win that pushed Coventry up to joint-third in the table, two points behind Lincoln and Blackpool who have both enjoyed perfect starts. Will the hosts strengthen their position in this match?
Bookmakers believe so and have the locals priced as favourites to come away with all three points. The pre-match betting is far from convincing, however, as there’s not an awful lot between the teams in terms of the prices.
