Sevilla v Levante

The latest of three Saturday starts and this is placed at the top of the bill as it’ll give followers of the division an insight into the future of the relegation race. Leganes look down on only five sides at present. They are just two points better than Rayo Vallecano and the bottom-three who will be relegated come the end of the season.
Eibar start in 11th and, on paper, look to be safe; however, they are within touching distance of the danger area, five points their cushion. This will be a nervy 90 minutes, take the draw at 21/10 – best price at Bet365.
Valladolid v Celta Vigo
The first of a packed Sunday session from Spain and Valladolid are chasing three points that will give them some breathing space over the relegation battle currently raging just two places below.
Stats of 5-7-8 doesn’t do an awful lot to inspire confidence in backers but Celta Vigo are one of the sides beneath them in the ladder and start on the back of a four-game losing streak. Confidence is low in the away dressing room, pushing us towards a narrow home win at 29/20 (Bet365).
Girona v Barcelona
They may be on the road but, as you would expect, all the talk concerning this match is about Barcelona and how many they will win by. Barca are top of the tree and enjoy a six-point gap over nearest rivals Atletico Madrid.
They are on an incredible winning run and shouldn’t be opposed until we see them threaten to go off the boil. Girona have taken just three of the last 15 points on the table and that makes an away day at 1/3 (Unibet) worthwhile. Short, but a better price than we were expecting to find.
Athletic Bilbao v Real Betis
Bilbao may be struggling down in 14th, three points better than the relegation zone following a dreadful start to the season, but they are moving in the right direction. If they can maintain their form, they will soon be moving towards the safety of midtable.
They take confidence from a five-game unbeaten run but have picked up three draws during that period, including a share last time out. The team look incapable of finishing sides off at the minute and that leads us to a bet on another draw at 9/4 with Ladbrokes. That appears to have been overpriced and there’s enough value there to convince us it’s worth taking a shot on.
Real Sociedad v Huesca
Huesca are amongst the easiest sides in European football to take on at the minute. They are rooted to the foot of the La Liga rankings, have lost 13 and drawn five of their 20 starts, conceded 39 goals, scored just 17 and lost each of their last two. #
It doesn’t take too much more explaining but the fact they are on the road tips the balance firmly towards a Sociedad victory. Back the locals at Coral and they’ll hand over a useful 8/13 if this match follows our thinking. Another bet best suited to accas.
Valencia v Villarreal
Valencia are performing below expectations; however, they have lost only one of their last five league starts and are poised to strike on the prize places, sitting just five points off the top-six.

Alaves v Rayo Vallecano
