Strictly Come Dancing 2024 Week 4 Predictions & Betting Tips
The competition continues for Week 4 of Strictly Come Dancing 2024 as 13 couples return…
Let’s move away from sports and look at some X-Factor betting tips. December is here – and that means only one thing… a serious amount of Reality TV betting at our fingertips. First to step up to the mark was the never-ending singing sensation… X-Factor on ITV; swiftly followed by the divine dancing show, Strictly Come Dancing, on rival channel BBC. Now, there’s the gruesomely fun I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!
Let’s look at X Factor first of all. It’s not long till the final and the acts are falling thick and fast – two a week. The groups and overs have suffered more than the boys and girls, but it’s getting ever more tense.
The groups, led by former Take That band member and successful solo artist, Robbie Williams, have lost some big acts and have just one offering left. They have just Aaliyah and Acacia waving the fag and this young duet are already struggling. They have been in the bottom two several times and are relying on the judges to keep them in. However, they may find themselves as the bottom act soon and get booted out with no chance to fight for survival.
The groups most promising act seemed to be the original Misunderstood; they wrote their own songs and looked as though they might be able to replicate the success of Rak-Su, but a bad choice of song, saw the audience misunderstanding them. Sunday night saw the demise of Robbie’s final group and now he has no representative in the final.
Then we have the overs, led dubiously by Robbie’s wife, Ayda Field. She was certainly a controversial choice of judge, with many not sure of her credentials for the role. She is also left with just one act left after losing Gio, the resident rocker. She now has all her eggs in one basket, with Danny Tetley. She does have the edge on hubby though, as Danny has yet to be in the bottom two and is going strong. Despite this, bookies seem to see her as being just as unlikely to be the winning mentor as Robbie. They were absolutely right as Danny was eliminated on Saturday and now Ayda goes into the final with no acts.
Simon Cowell himself has taken the girls under his wing and was riding high for a while. He was the last judge to lose an act and kept them in the game for a while. After a shocking weekend, he now only has one act left in the show. With Bella Penfold and Shan being voted off, Scarlett is left flying the girly flag. The bold and feisty young singer, Scarlett Lee, has been given odds of 9/1 by Betstars. However, the girls now far from being favourite to be the winning category. Unfortunately for the Cowell, he is only second favourite, with odds of 9/1 from Betstars. However, he could be worth an outside punt with this strong and popular contender still in the running.
Former X-Factor star and former 1D member has taken the reigns as the boy judge. This new Louis certainly is easier to look at – and listen to than the old Louis. This young man seems to have taken his role as a mentor very seriously and you can see this in his relationship with the boys. He genuinely cares. In our opinion – and most people’s opinions, this is the strongest category in the show. He has three acts left – all very diverse. In his category, is the favourite to win, Dalton. This boy can undoubtedly sing. He makes it look easy and he never has a bad week or even a bad note. His consistency has seen bookies slash odds on his victory and he’s now up for odds of 2/7 to win if you go to Coral.
However, we can’t forget the Scouser lad, who left the competition in disgrace last year. Anthony Russell came back from the brink with the help of Louis Tomlinson, and now has odds of 9/1 with Bet365. The Irish Brendan Murray, however, started as an early favourite, but struggled to find himself, and was eliminated on Saturday night. With all of this, Louis must like his chances of being the winning judge on his debut with odds of 1/16 at 888sport.
We reckon the odds on favourite is the likely victor.
