Serie A 27 April Betting Tips & Predictions

Get ready for some top football this weekend in Serie A, as the best teams are scrapping for their final places. Who will come behind Juventus? What team will fall to the bottom? Here are our top Serie A 27 April betting tips & predictions.

Top Weekend Serie A Tips

Bologna v Empoli

A crucial weekend in Serie A and we get started with a Saturday fixture involving two sides stuck at the wrong end of the charts with the threat of relegation hanging over them. Two wins and a draw in their last three has lifted Bologna to what appears to be safety and they’ll know victory here will all but secure their place in the top-flight for another season. Empoli have taken just one of the last nine points available and that makes them easy to oppose. Back the home win at 19/20, best price at Unibet.

Our Tip: Bologna to win – 19/20 at Unibet

Roma v Cagliari

Roma are battling to hold their ground and finish in the Europa League slots, but they still have a chance to improve on that and catapult themselves into contention for a Champions League berth that comes with a top-four finish. They are unbeaten in four – two wins and a couple of draws – and should be good enough to better an opponent that can be found four places lower in the charts. We’re with Roma at a decent 11/20, offered at best price by the good people at Unibet.

Our Tip: Roma to win – 11/20 at Unibet

Inter Milan v Juventus

Top of the bill on Saturday night and viewers are guaranteed an exciting game of football as they get two of Italy’s big-guns. Juventus are champions in waiting as they tighten their grip over Serie A, but they now have nothing left to play for this season and that could leave the door open for Milan to spring a surprise. Juve lost recently, suffering their second defeat of the campaign but Inter Milan have drawn two of their last four, making them difficult to trust. Stick with what we know and take an away win in your accumulators at a decent 2/1 with William Hill. That’s value – grab it.

Our Tip: Juventus to win – 2/1 at William Hill

Frosinone v Napoli

The first of Sunday’s fixtures and Napoli go in as best of the rest behind Juventus but they have managed just one win in their last four league games and that’s a result of having no challenge in the closing stages of the season. They should get back to winning ways against a home team who started the weekend second bottom of the pile following two defeats in their last two. Keep it simple and add a talented Napoli side to your multiples at the 4/11 offered by Ladbrokes. The draw is 4/1, a home win not tempting enough at as big as 10/1 in places.

Our Tip: Napoli to win – 4/11 at Ladbrokes

Chievo v Parma

Four defeats on the spin left Chievo rooted to the bottom of Serie A and they look destined to stay there between now and the finish line, despite rallying back to claim what was only their second win of the season last time out. They are a side best avoided most weekends and that’s exactly what we plan to do again here, coming down in support of Parma who have drawn each of their last three. Another share is a danger at 21/10 with Bet365, but we’ll stick with the away day at the 29/20 sent out by Ladbrokes.

Our Tip: Parma to win – 29/20 at Ladbrokes

Spal v Genoa

Two sides stuck in the bottom-half of Serie A but on recent form these opponents are worlds apart with Spal winning four of their last five, including each of their last two, while Genoa have slipped to 15th in the charts after picking up just one point from the last 15 on the table, losing their two most recent outings. Follow the clues given by the form and put your trust in a home win at 6/4 (Bet635), more appealing then risking Genoa at 11/5 with the same site.

Our Tip: Spal to win – 6/4 at Bet365

Sampdoria v Lazio

You can follow this match from 5.00pm on Sunday thanks to the live coverage offered by Premier Sports and those who tune in will enjoy a competitive contest. Schedulers appear to have chosen wisely here, with just one place between the teams going into the weekend, both having an outside chance of gate-crashing the party by forcing their way into the European places. Neither do a lot in terms of recent form to inspire confidence in punters, so we’ll take the draw at 5/2 with Ladbrokes. That should give us something to cheer.

Our Tip: A draw – 5/2 at Ladbrokes

Torino v AC Milan

Torino have performed well above expectations this season and start the weekend in seventh place, two points behind Roma and the Europa League slots. They are on an eye-catching unbeaten run of two wins and three draws in their last five. Can they continue that against a Milan side who start in the top-four? We’re on the fence again, taking the draw at 11/5, market best price at Bet365.

Our Tip: A draw – 11/5 at Bet365

Atalanta v Udinese

Three wins and two draws in their last five has pushed Atalanta into fifth place and following a win last weekend they were level on points with AC Milan and the Champions League slots. Will they hold on to shock everyone and nab a top-four? To give themselves any chance of doing so they must beat a Udinese side who are winless in three and in a relegation battle. Take the locals in your accas at 1/3 with Bet365.

Our Tip: Atalanta to win – 1/3 at Bet365

Fiorentina v Sassuolo

Neither side have given supporters much to cheer about in recent outings, with Fiorentina winless in their last five while their opponents have claimed one victory in the same period. There’s very little between their pair in the league at the minute and the fact they show a combined six draws in their last five games means we are more than happy to sit on the fence.

Back a draw as a super single and hope this one follows the form. You’ll get 12/5 when supporting the share at Bet365 and that’s enough to win us over. Those preferring to pick sides will find Fiorentina priced as 17/20 favourites – top price at Unibet – and there’s no value in that. Sassuolo to upset the apple-cart and leave with victory is 17/5 at Ladbrokes.

Our Tip: A draw – 12/5 at Bet365
