It’s the Wimbledon Men’s Semi-Finals next – with players just one step away from the big final on Sunday. Along with England exiting the football, another big loss happened on Wednesday 11th July – Federer was knocked out of the tournament. Up until this point he had been seemingly cruising through, without dropping a set. However, yesterday the record-breaking player fought a gruelling 5-setter against K Anderson of South Africa. He initially went 2 sets up but it turned around in the third set. In a nail-biting final set, Federer eventually lost by 11 sets to 13. Federer may be out, but the rest of the big names have made it through. Still in the running to take the title is Djokovic, who managed a win in 4 sets; also, Nadal is there, who was also taken to a 5-set match against Del Potro. Isner also managed to oust Raonic.
