FedEx Open de France Golf Predictions & Betting Tips
Le Golf National, Paris, hosts the Open de France 2024 on the DP World Tour…
We turn our attentions to Spain for a golfing fix this week and organisers at the Open de Espana are more than happy to oblige. The renewal of this fan-friendly tournament promises to be an exciting one and, as always, conditions should be perfect for four days of high-class golf. Here are our top Open de Espana betting tips and predictions.
Some of the biggest names on the circuit are in attendance, as was expected, and they will play in front of a decent crowd. The Sky Sports cameras bring live coverage to those who can’t make it, with the play getting started on Thursday afternoon. It is then just up to bookmakers to do their bit and we’re pleased to report there’s plenty of value available in the available markets.
The money men have had their say and pinned form player John Rahm to the head of the betting. That will come as no major surprise to followers of the tour but the fact he’s no more than 10/3 at Ladbrokes puts us off backing him. There’s no value in that, for as capable as he is, so we’ll cast our eyes further down the pecking order in the hope of picking out one at a better price.
Sergio Garcia is the man for us and he’ll play with the backing of the crowd. He doesn’t arrive in the kind of form we know he is capable of but there’s little doubt the Spaniard will be eager to put on a show for his followers. The 6/1 – top price at William Hill – is much easier to back than the 10/3 about the jolly. Follow our thinking and back Garcia to come out on top.
