Brazilian Grand Prix Predictions & F1 Betting Tips
The Brazilian Grand Prix sees a third race in as many weeks as the pressure…
The Singapore Grand Prix takes place on 22nd September with practice getting underway before qualifying and the Grand Prix proper on Sunday afternoon. Followers can keep pace with the action live on Sky Sports and this promises to be one to keep an eye on. Here are our top Singapore Grand Prix betting tips and predictions.
Marina Bay provides the backdrop and that’s where we saw Lewis Hamilton win a dramatic race last year. The world champion finished on the top step, ahead of runner-up Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel in third. The Brit would dearly love to repeat the feat as he aims to put a drop of form behind him and get back to winning the drivers’ championship.
The current outright league table is a little more competitive than we expected it to be with Lewis Hamilton leading the way on 284 points achieved thanks to eight Grand Prix victories. He was without a rival for much of the first half of the season but now has the ambitious Valtetteri Bottas for company in second, the latter showing 221 points and two Grand Prix wins. Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have won two each and sit third and fourth.
The current betting for the Singapore Grand Prix is a touch more interesting than we expected it to be and backers will find Hamilton marked up as favourite. There’s no surprise in that stance from the money men but the fact there’s 6/4 trading at Bet365 makes it a little more appealing. He sits ahead of Max Verstappen on 7/4 with Ladbrokes and Valterri Bottas at as big as 7/1, each-way players getting 1/5 the odds a place 1-2-3. Our advice is to back Hamilton and do it as soon as possible.
